Finne Architects, the team responsible for the project, completely change a 1905 bungalow into a modern and strikingly beautiful, the place is full of natural light, perfect for learning. The architects envision Reading Room as a conversation between past and present, a place where people can easily find inner peace, meditate and of course, doing some reading, and creating an atmosphere of fun reading. "Anchored by a new reflecting pool in the corner of the site, bringing a new Reading Room frankly modern expression to the old building, creating an interesting dialogue between past and present." Attention to the interior, the interior is warm and friendly. Partition the space previously been removed for a clearer sense of light and luminosity. There is a fireplace that has been refurbished and newly exposed roof framing has been added. The table read is quite unique and made detail make them stand out. The Sapele table read each supported by a series of leg-cast bronze, with intricate relief pattern on the surface of the foot. The Reading Room was built to respect the line of sustainable design.
