Beautiful Country Garden House in China

Outside of Portland in the United States, creative designers at Olson Kundig have completed a beautiful house called the Country Garden House. Being in a lush green place in a rural area.

From the start, the main goal of everyone involved in home planning and design is to create something that can exist in harmony with beautiful green and natural settings. This is motivated by the fact that the house was built specifically for a gardener who wants their greatest passion to inspire, be reflected in, and surround their living space.

The planning of this project is very clear, everyone involved has a mission, namely to create a house that can be one with nature, green and natural.

A very interesting mix in a natural window. The outside and inside the room become inseparable. The designers give an important key in this section. Opportunities in the house to add to the rural landscape immediately visible, from the surrounding gardens and towering hills. A very interesting blend in this section.

 

The other part, the designers want to make sure the space inside is kept warm and comfortable, giving residents and visitors this view without feeling too much like privacy is sacrificed. This house was built taking into account multi-generational use, detail for this is of great concern, so that the spaces are open concept, adaptable, and easy to move, creating extraordinary flow not only for humans but also energy, light, and air circulation.

 

The reclaimed warehouse is the number one tool used by building teams to enable real communication of homes with their natural scenery. The facade of this house is clad in durable material, giving a look reminiscent of old granaries in the area. Its slightly more contemporary form also reminds us of a greenhouse, which is entirely suitable for whom the house was built.

What must also not be removed from the focus is the wooden structure, the beautiful high-energy and energy-efficient glass windows serving several functions for the home. In addition to being the main tool through which visitors access the amazing scenery we mentioned before, they also flood the house with natural light, giving a feeling of cheerfulness and energy and reducing power requirements. Of course, sunlight can heat up everything quickly, so, instead of just encouraging owners to use air conditioners, designers use layered glass from pitched to floor ceilings, allowing UV-resistant glass to handle heat residues.
